Registration Policies

Registration and Payment
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment of the session fees. Fees must be paid in a single payment at the time of registration by Interac e-Transfer to: info@cemamusique.ca

Session Duration
Registration covers a 9-week session. Dates and schedules are established in collaboration with Collège Jacques-Prévert.

Student Absence
A lesson missed due to a student’s absence will not be refunded, credited, or rescheduled.

Teacher Absence
If a lesson must be cancelled due to the teacher’s absence, CEMA Musique will offer a make-up lesson at a time agreed upon by the teacher and the student.

Cancellation and Refunds
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to CEMA Musique. Where applicable, refunds will be issued in accordance with the provisions of Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.

Minimum Enrollment — Choir
The choir is subject to a minimum number of registrations. If CEMA Musique must cancel the activity before it begins, all fees paid for the activity will be refunded.

Violin and Learning Materials
The instrument and violin method book are not included in the registration fees. Parents are responsible for renting or purchasing an appropriately sized instrument, as well as purchasing any learning materials required by the teacher.

Choir Book
If a songbook or other learning materials are required for the choir, parents will be informed. The cost of these materials is not included in the session fees unless otherwise indicated.

Responsibility for Instruments
CEMA Musique is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal or rented instrument belonging to a student.

Student Arrival, Supervision, and Departure
The procedures regarding student arrival, supervision, and departure are those established in collaboration with Collège Jacques-Prévert. Parents must follow the procedures communicated for the activity.
